Projects

The MAGIC Youth Program is dedicated to equipping and empowering young people with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities needed to lead with integrity, compassion, and resilience. Through mentorship, leadership development, self-awareness, and self-regulation, the program creates a supportive environment where youth are encouraged to grow into confident, responsible, and engaged individuals who are committed to Making A Great Impact in their communities.

The vision of the program is to help build a world where every young person has access to the guidance, resources, and opportunities necessary to reach their full potential. By fostering personal growth and leadership, the program aims to inspire youth to contribute meaningfully to society and become positive leaders of change for future generations.

Unity Youth Explosion

M.A.G.I.C. hosted Unity Youth Explosion at Agape Storge Christian Center. This event united youth groups 13 churches across the Mississippi Delta to engage in collective worship. The goal of this event was to bridge races, ages, genders, and all other demographics for the sole purpose of praising God. The youth formed a choir, drama team, and praise dance team that rehearsed weekly for 3 months prior to the event, and ministered at the event. Youth and adults facilitated breakout groups centered around spiritual, emotional, and mental health and wellness. Over 300 individuals attended the event, and over 100 individuals dedicated their lives to Christ.

Night of the Arts

M.A.G.I.C. hosted a Night of the Arts for youth, where children ages 8-18 were mentored in the areas of Poetry, Songwriting, Playwriting and Performing, and Drawing. The mentors were local poets, published authors, songwriters, and community activists. As a result of this event, the M.A.G.I.C. Theme Song entitled “We Are M.A.G.I.C.” was created.

Life Skills

M.A.G.I.C. hosts life skills training for 3rd-12th grade youth. Topics such as bullying, career development, building healthy friendships, self-awareness, survival skills, and technical skills have been provided to over 400 students in the Greenville Public School District. Additional activities were provided to South Delta High School, in collaboration with Dr. Pam Chatman’s Boss Lady’s No Bullying campaign.

Beyond the Crowd

The “Beyond the Crowd” conference encouraged youth to embrace leadership, individuality, and confidence rather than following negative influences or societal pressures. Through powerful discussions and motivation, students were reminded of the importance of making independent choices, standing firm in their values, and becoming positive examples within their schools, communities, and future careers. The conference inspired young people to recognize their potential, step outside the mindset of conformity, and lead with purpose, integrity, and impact.
